About the job

As a Senior Software Engineer you will help scale Stytch’s core product as we bring Stytch capabilities to Twilio’s full customer base, delivering secure, developer-first identity experiences. • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction, translate customer needs into product capabilities, and deliver high-impact roadmap features.
  • Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams to align on architecture, integrate platform capabilities, and unblock cross-team initiatives.
  • Operate with deep technical ownership: author design docs, drive key technical decisions, review code, and stay close to the systems you ship.
  • Build in ambiguity—break down complex problems, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and design developer experiences that delight our customers.
  • Improve production quality and resilience through strong observability, incident response and remediation.
  • Mentor and support other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge-sharing, helping raise the team’s technical bar and culture.

Join the team as Twilio’s next Forward Deployed Engineer!

About the job

This position is needed to support the GTM Innovation team. As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Twilio, you will be responsible for accelerating the adoption of new solutions and platform capabilities in incubation with our Top Global customers.

Operating with a forward deployed engineering mindset, you will bridge the gap where many enterprise AI projects stall at the last mile. Specifically, you will own the technical delivery of the Solution Acceleration Program — going beyond isolated sandbox environments to embed alongside customer engineers and deploy their first low-risk production use case. You will run workshops and hackathons across Twilio’s global sales base, build early adoption playbooks, and dramatically shorten the customer’s path to value realization and ARR generation. In doing so, you will serve as a critical technical conduit, surfacing product signals and structured field insights that directly influence Twilio’s core R&D roadmaps.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead technical engagements end-to-end scoping solution architecture in POC workshops, designing and building production-grade systems, and driving the engagement through stabilization to the launch of the first live use case..
  • Write and ship production code (Python, TypeScript, Node) directly in customer codebases — designing APIs, integrating with existing customer architecture, building proper error handling, observability, and test coverage — working as a hands-on contributor alongside customer engineers, not just an advisor.
  • Architect solutions that pass customer Infosec, security, and Architecture Review Board (ARB) review, translating security and compliance requirements into concrete implementation decisions around auth, data handling, and infrastructure design.
  • Lead high-energy customer hackathons and builder activation events at flagship or target Direct accounts to accelerate the adoption of new solutions.
  • Build and maintain reusable technical assets — reference implementations, starter apps, SDKs, sample repos, and companion engineering guides — that demonstrate sound architecture and become the technical backbone for adoption across accounts.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Demo Platform Engineering to turn high-level reference architectures into working, deployable code that customer builder teams can extend on their own.
  • Evangelize Twilio within the B2B builder communities of the target accounts by driving building of net new POCs and demos that bring to life architectures discussed at the C-suite, line of business levels in the sales cycles
  • Utilize your software engineering expertise to ensure customers’ builder teams develop full understanding of and familiarity with the whole platform capabilities of the solutions being pitched or sold
  • Work closely with the Demo Platform Engineering and Enterprise Architect teams to ensure C-suite positioning and the higher level reference architectures are properly activated within the builder communities of the target accounts
  • Synthesize field insights from every production deployment to directly inform R&D of necessary product improvements and feature requirements

Qualifications

Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn’t followed a traditional path, don’t let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

*Required:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping production code (Python, TypeScript, Node) in real systems — not just prototypes or demos.
  • Solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals: API design, system architecture, testing, debugging, version control workflows, and CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated experience running end-to-end technical engagements — from POC workshops through to production deployment
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, whether it’s in board rooms with C-level stakeholders, customer meetings, or internal meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to have strong opinions loosely held, and willingness to lean into ambiguity and proof of thriving in such environment previously
  • Strong understanding of Twilio’s products and services, as well as the broader market dynamics of SaaS, specifically in cloud computing, Gen AI, CRM, CDP, and/or CPaaS
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills, with a track record of thinking outside the box and delivering on “wow”
  • Prior experience in a forward deployed engineering, technical presales and/or solution engineering experience strongly preferred

Desired:

  • Deep understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) core concepts, context engineering, and conversational AI patterns.
  • Experience building multi-agent AI systems using frameworks (e.g., LanghChain/LangGraph, CrewAI) and advanced agentic design patterns
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and observability tooling.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not required.

Location

This role will be remote, and based in London, UK or Dublin, Ireland.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 30% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Engineer Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Alt

Senior ML Engineer owns end-to-end development and production deployment of pricing and underwriting models, from research through infrastructure scaling.

Senior Posted about 16 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5 B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform.

We’re hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who thrives on owning models end-to-end, from research through production. In this role, you’ll own productization of Alt’s pricing and underwriting models — the systems that turn raw card and market data into the Alt Value and cash advance terms that every buyer, seller, and lender on the platform depends on. You’ll be the person who matures models to production-grade services, keeps them accurate and fast at scale, and pushes the boundary of what we can automate.

Why This Role Exists

Alt is at an inflection point — our marketplace is scaling fast, and our pricing intelligence infrastructure has become a genuine competitive moat. We’ve proven that model-driven pricing works; now we need to push coverage, accuracy, and speed further while bringing down the overhead to run it. This is a high-ownership opportunity to take our pricing and underwriting models from “working” to “excellent” — and to define the ML infrastructure standards that will scale with the company for years to come.

What You’ll Own

  • Optimize our pricing models to significantly reduce infrastructure costs while maintaining and improving their accuracy, especially for high-value assets.
  • Iterate on our underwriting model to maximize cash advance disbursements while maintaining target risk thresholds and default rates.
  • Lead the full ML lifecycle from model training and feature generation to production deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with our Expert Pricers to become a domain expert in the trading card market and inform model improvements.
  • Design and execute experiments and backtesting to discover and validate new features that improve the models’ predictive power and coverage.
  • Own the models’ AWS infrastructure, writing code for our pricing APIs to ensure the models can serve at scale and with low latency.

Metrics You’ll Own:

Northstar Metric: Model-Based Pricing Coverage (% of cards confidently priced by models vs. manually)

KPIs:

  • Pricing Accuracy (% Error)

  • Pricing Freshness (End-to-End Model Orchestration Time)

  • Underwriting Performance (Advance disbursement rate vs. Target default rate)

What Great Looks Like (6 Months)

  • Shipped leaner, more accurate pricing models. You’ve cut infrastructure cost meaningfully while improving accuracy, especially on high-value assets.

  • Moved underwriting from good to great. You’ve iterated on the underwriting model to increase cash advance disbursements without breaching risk thresholds.

  • Earned trust with Expert Pricers. You’re a go-to partner for the pricing team — you understand the domain deeply enough that your model changes reflect real market judgment, not just data.

  • Hardened the production path. The pricing APIs are faster, more observable, and easier to reason about, with monitoring in place to catch model drift or degradation before it hits customers.

Who you are

Must-haves:

  • 7+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models.
  • Deep proficiency in production-grade Python and SQL, including building custom feature-engineering pipelines (not just off-the-shelf scikit-learn). Think time-decay weighting, leakage-safe k-fold cross-validation, and cascading fallback/imputation logic.
  • Experience training and validating gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators against strict accuracy/error tolerances, with segment-specific tuning (e.g., by category or asset type).
  • Experience leveraging LLMs, foundation models, and AI dev tools for both internal tooling and user-facing product use cases in production.
  • Experience with MLflow or a comparable tool for experiment tracking and model registry/versioning.
  • Comfortable owning production model-serving infrastructure on AWS — capacity planning, auto-scaling, and diagnosing memory/timeout failures at scale.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating production workflows, and IaC for provisioning and modifying cloud infrastructure.
  • Pragmatic and focused on delivering value incrementally rather than pursuing perfection.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with real-time or low-latency models serving at scale.
  • Previous startup experience — you understand and thrive on the pace, adaptability, and ownership required in a fast-moving environment.
  • Interested in or knowledgeable of trading cards, collectibles, or alternative asset markets.

What You’ll Get From Us

  • A seat at the table to help shape the future of Alt and the alternative asset space
  • Autonomy and ownership on projects that matter
  • $100/month work-from-home stipend
  • $200/month wellness stipend
  • WeWork office stipend
  • 401(k) retirement benefits
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Competitive healthcare benefits, including HSA, for you and your dependent(s)

Base salary range: $235,000-250,000 plus equity. Offers may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.

Our Purpose

At SentinelOne, we are driven by a clear purpose: to give the advantage to those who secure our future. As AI reshapes how organizations build, operate, and innovate, the responsibility to protect them becomes more critical than ever. When you join SentinelOne, your work helps protect global enterprises, critical infrastructure, and the technologies shaping tomorrow. What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for people who are relentlessly curious and committed to continuous learning. AI is reshaping every function across our business, and we enable every team member, regardless of role or level, to build fluency in AI tools and concepts. Those who thrive here actively seek out new solutions, experiment thoughtfully, and apply what they learn to drive better, faster, smarter outcomes.

As Sr. Director, AI Enterprise Platform Engineering, you will build the AI foundation that every internal AI use case runs on top of. The platform you create will be the control plane through which all AI activity at SentinelOne is governed, observed, secured, and scaled — serving both custom-developed AI applications built by SentinelOne engineering teams and vendor-deployed AI solutions such as Claude Enterprise and Gemini Enterprise.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Own and execute the roadmap for SentinelOne’s enterprise AI platform — the Gateway, Harness, and Semantic Layers — moving us from direct-to-LLM connections to a governed, multi-model control plane.
  • Design and build the AI Gateway layer: centralized identity and AuthN/Z, token budgeting, DLP and content guardrails, multi-model routing and failover, MCP allow-listing, and a full audit trail across every AI request.
  • Build and operate the Harness layer: agent orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), prompt construction and context management, memory and state across multi-turn interactions, model abstraction across Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others via providers such as AWS Bedrock and Vertex, and MCP/tool wiring for internal and SaaS-embedded agents.
  • Own the technical roadmap for SentinelOne’s Claude & Gemini Enterprise plugin framework — a growing library of role-based skills and agents that surface AI capabilities to employees in the context of their specific roles. This includes expanding coverage across more roles and use cases, maturing the way plugins are securely authored, tested, and deployed, and continuously improving the quality and reliability of each plugin’s outputs.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Data, Enterprise Apps, Product Development, and Infosec to connect the platform to governed data sources, align on security controls, and ensure every integration is built on shared architectural contracts.
  • Govern how agents — whether user-instantiated in Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI products, engineered by SentinelOne teams, embedded in SaaS platforms, or arriving from external partners — interact with our systems, ensuring every caller passes through the same policy controls regardless of origin.
  • Hire, mentor, and technically lead a team of engineers; set standards, review architecture decisions, and create an environment where strong engineers do their best work.
  • Communicate platform status, architecture decisions, and risk posture clearly to executive stakeholders.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • You have built at least one production platform — AI or otherwise — that enforced centralized policy across multiple consumers: auth/AuthN/Z, rate limiting, observability, and audit logging. Bonus if that platform touched AI specifically (LLM gateway, model routing, or orchestration), but strong candidates from API platform, data platform, or developer platform backgrounds are equally welcome. What matters is that you can describe what you built, the tradeoffs you made, and what you’d do differently.
  • Hands-on depth in agent orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), including experience routing to hosted model providers such as AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex. You understand how context windows, memory, and tool-calling actually work — not just conceptually.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing an AI gateway — centralized auth, rate limiting, DLP, observability, and audit logging across multiple model providers. Hands-on experience with Kong AI Gateway specifically is a plus.
  • You have experience building or owning a model evaluation framework — not just running benchmarks, but closing the loop: using eval results to drive model selection, prompt tuning, and routing decisions.
  • Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and practical experience governing tool access for agents operating across enterprise systems in a secure way.
  • Hands-on familiarity with enterprise AI deployments — specifically Claude Enterprise (Anthropic) and Gemini Enterprise — including how they are administered, how access and policy controls work, and how they connect to a broader governed AI architecture.
  • Strong software engineering background — you can write and review production code, understand API design, and hold a high technical bar with your team. Our current stack includes Python 3.11+ with FastAPI, React 18+ with TypeScript, and pydantic.ai for LLM-powered components; we expect this leader to be comfortable working in that stack and to evaluate, evolve, and own those standards going forward.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries — this role operates in tight partnership with Enterprise Apps, Data, Product Development, and Infosec teams. You have a track record of building shared architectural contracts.
  • Experience evaluating and selecting between build, buy, and assemble options at the layer level — including vendor assessment, total cost of ownership modeling, and the discipline to not over-engineer where mature open-source or commercial components already exist.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role and at least 1 year leading a team building AI or ML infrastructure in a production enterprise environment.

Why SentinelOne?

AI is redefining how the world operates and rewriting the rules of security in real time, and SentinelOne was built for this moment. From day one, we architected an AI-native platform designed to operate at machine speed, not as an add-on to legacy systems but as the foundation itself.

If you are motivated by meaningful challenges and want your impact to be real, measurable, and global, you will find purpose here.

About Us

SentinelOne is a company at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering a new operating model for cybersecurity. Our AI-native platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems to deliver autonomous detection and response with clarity and speed. By combining real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and a unified data foundation, we reduce noise, simplify complexity, and empower security teams to focus on what truly matters.

Our teams are builders, problem-solvers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of security. If you are excited to solve hard problems alongside talented, mission-driven people, we invite you to help us build a safer future for humanity.

As a Staff Forward Deploy Engineer at SentinelOne, you will sit at the intersection of our customers and our product. Your time splits between customer engineering teams and our own codebases– shipping the integrations, fixes, and platform improvements customer deployments require. Your work will touch many products and services across the company including our data pipeline and the Singularity Data Lake and EventDB (our highly scalable columnar database that ingests Petabytes of data per day).

You’ll work closely with customers to understand their environments, translate ambiguous requirements into shipped solutions, and build integrations, customizations, and upstream product contributions that unlock real business value. We’re seeking a seasoned colleague, able to own customer engagements end-to-end, inspire others as a Staff Forward Deploy Engineer, and lead technically across unfamiliar codebases and messy problem spaces. You will interact with engineers in and across the org, tech leads, architects, product management, sales, and customer executive stakeholders.

What Will You Do?

  • Software Development (fullstack; primarily React/Java)

Dive deep into coding, turning customer requirements and product gaps into shipped solutions. Write robust tests, tackle bugs with finesse, and ensure top-notch security in your code. Expect to move between codebases regularly, including on escalated issues that span multiple products.

  • Customer Engagement and Requirements Gathering

Partner with customers and our field teams to understand customer environments, goals, and constraints. Turn loose, ambiguous (possibly contradictory!) asks into a clear technical strategy. Carry field learnings back into product and engineering planning while advocating for what customers need. Occasionally support pre-sales scoping where early engineering input shapes a good outcome.

  • Customer Integrations, Deployments, and Enablement

Own the design and delivery of integrations that connect SentinelOne products into customer environments. Often this is work you will do alongside the customer’s engineers, shaping both the solution and the knowledge transfer that goes with it. Produce the runbooks, integration docs, and executive-level technical communication that let customers operate independently.

  • Upstream Contributions to the Core Product

When something needs fixing or improving in the core platform to make a customer whole, you go do it. Partner with platform teams to get contributions reviewed and supported long-term, and know when to invest in the long-term fix versus the near-term unblock. Along the way, build the tooling that codifies repeatable patterns and scales the whole Forward Deploy function.

  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship

Raise the bar for the Forward Deploy Engineering team. Mentor Senior Forward Deploy Engineers, set standards for how engagements are scoped and delivered, and shape how the team operates as it grows.

  • Build and Review Technical Specifications

Architect end-to-end solutions for complex problems with loose definition, sometimes spanning multiple codebases and owning teams. Document trade-offs and critical implementation details; review and provide meaningful feedback on other specs, understanding broader patterns and downstream/upstream dependencies.

  • Code Review

Champion code quality, security, and efficiency. Your keen eye for detail will guide you in reviewing and elevating our codebase– including the codebases you’re visiting.

  • Support and Team CollaborationRespond to ad-hoc customer and internal escalations promptly (no regular on-call rotation). Assist your colleagues, share constructive feedback, and contribute to weekly syncs and daily Slack standups.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

We do not require a perfect match with everything below; however, the more this describes you, the better of a fit you will be for this role.

  • Experience
    • Solid computer science background with 6+ years engineering experience including both backend and frontend.
    • Proven expertise designing and operating distributed systems or data-intensive services.
    • Track record of leading substantial pieces of work end-to-end, under ambiguity, with multiple stakeholders.
    • Experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to shape technical solutions.
  • Technical Mastery
    • Deep proficiency in at least one production language (Java strongly preferred; 5+ years) and working comfort in at least one additional language.
    • You value elegant code that is concise and readable.
    • You’ll pick up new tools and codebases as the work demands, and will likely end up working with modern Java, React, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, GraphQL, Node.js, SentinelOne’s own platform, and more.
    • You enjoy writing modern Java (we love lambdas) and prefer composition to inheritance.
    • You’re comfortable weighing in on CAP theorem considerations, and are energized by selecting the data structure with the perfect trade-offs for a problem at hand.
  • Domain Familiarity
    • Experience in the cybersecurity domain is strongly preferred. (think SIEM, EDR/XDR, log pipelines, detection engineering, threat hunting, etc.).
  • A Collaborative, Curious, and Practical Mindset
    • You’re energized by walking into an unfamiliar codebase and being genuinely useful in a week, and by leading others through the same kind of work.
    • You believe a vague customer request is an interesting technical problem waiting to be reframed, and that “a problem well-stated is half-solved.”
    • You can translate between engineers and non-engineers (customers, executives, sales, product, etc.) without losing precision in either direction.
    • You’d rather ship a well-thought-out 80% that solves the real problem than a perfect 100% six weeks late. And you can teach others when to customize for one customer versus producing a general solution.
    • You take mentorship seriously and enjoy seeing other engineers grow in their ability to solve harder problems.
    • You take pride in clear written communication — tickets, design docs, customer runbooks, and executive briefings alike.

Why SentinelOne?

What this role involves

As a Staff Backend Engineer on the Self-Hosted team, you will be tasked with building and maintaining the backend services that power SentinelOne’s on-premises deployments. You will work across a Go and Python-based microservices platform, ensuring that enterprise customers can deploy, operate, and upgrade SentinelOne in air-gapped and restricted environments. Your work directly determines the reliability of security infrastructure for some of the largest organizations in the world.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop backend services in Go (Flask, SQLAlchemy, gevent) that run in customer-managed environments, with a strong focus on operational correctness and upgrade safety.
  • Own the deployment lifecycle: build and maintain Docker images, and ensure services start correctly across a wide range of customer infrastructure configurations.
  • Build and evolve REST and gRPC APIs consumed by both internal services and external management consoles, maintaining strict backwards-compatibility contracts as the platform scales.
  • Work closely with the database layer (PostgreSQL and MongoDB) to write Alembic migrations that run safely in production, handle schema evolution without downtime, and keep query performance healthy under load.
  • Drive observability improvements by instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry, defining SLOs, and making sure operators can diagnose issues in environments where SentinelOne has limited visibility.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Go in a production microservices environment, including deep familiarity with Flask, SQLAlchemy, and async concurrency patterns (gevent or asyncio).
  • Hands-on experience packaging and deploying containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes, including writing Helm charts and reasoning about upgrade paths across multiple deployed versions.
  • Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design, query optimization, and writing zero-downtime migration scripts using Alembic or equivalent tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining gRPC and REST APIs with explicit versioning strategies, preferably in environments where breaking changes are costly.
  • Solid understanding of observability: structured logging, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry or equivalent, and building dashboards in Grafana or similar tools.

Why SentinelOne?

AI is redefining how the world operates and rewriting the rules of security in real time, and SentinelOne was built for this moment. From day one, we architected an AI-native platform designed to operate at machine speed, not as an add-on to legacy systems but as the foundation itself. What this role involves

As a Senior Forward Deploy Engineer at SentinelOne, you will sit at the intersection of our customers and our product. Your time splits between customer engineering teams and our own codebases– shipping the integrations, fixes, and platform improvements customer deployments require. Your work will touch many products and services across the company, including our data pipeline and the Singularity Data Lake and EventDB (our highly scalable columnar database that ingests Petabytes of data per day). You’ll work closely with customers to understand their environments, translate ambiguous requirements into shipped solutions, and build integrations, customizations, and upstream product contributions that unlock real business value.

    • Solid computer science background with 4+ years engineering experience including both backend and frontend.

    • Deep proficiency in at least one production language (Java strongly preferred; 3+ years) and working comfort in at least one additional language.

    • You believe a vague customer request is an interesting technical problem waiting to be reframed, and that “a problem well-stated is half-solved.
    • You can translate between engineers and non-engineers (customers, executives, sales, product, etc.) without losing precision in either direction.
    • You’d rather ship a well-thought-out 80% that solves the real problem than a perfect 100% six weeks late.
    • You take mentorship seriously and enjoy seeing other engineers grow in their ability to solve harder problems.
    • You take pride in clear written communication — tickets, design docs, customer runbooks, and executive briefings alike.

Engineer Principal Software Engineer - Revenue Hub at HubSpot

Principal engineer designs and builds the technical architecture for HubSpot's revenue platform, handling billions in transactions across CPP, billing, payments, and AI agent integrations.

Lead Posted about 16 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

POS-9034

About the Team

Revenue Hub is building the backbone for businesses to sell, bill, get paid, and manage revenue inside HubSpot. Our systems handle billions of dollars in transactions, so correctness, clarity, and predictability matter.

We’re building a commerce platform where the data model, APIs, and flows are first-class. Reps, admins, and agents all work from the same foundation. The vision is a single, connected revenue flow: Contact to Deal to Quote to Order to Contract to Invoice to Payment to Reconciliation. When that flow is clean and trusted, revenue context becomes available across the whole business: marketing can attribute spend to real revenue, sales can forecast on actual billing behavior, and service teams can see renewal risk before it’s too late.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help shape the technical future of Revenue Hub. This is a very hands-on role. You’ll write code, dive into services, review tough designs, debug messy systems, and directly own the architecture behind CPQ, Billing, Payments, and Revenue OS. A big part of this role is defining how external developers and AI agents interact with those surfaces safely and predictably.

What You’ll Do

Build a simple, consistent, extensible platform

  • Shape the technical roadmap across CPQ, Billing, and Payments with strong, opinionated patterns.
  • Define and evolve core domain models so pricing, products, contracts, invoices, and payments behave predictably in the UI, over the API, and inside agent-driven workflows.
  • Design the API and platform contracts that let developers, partners, and AI agents extend Revenue Hub without coupling to internals.
  • Create frameworks that make the platform easy to extend without adding complexity.

Be a deeply hands-on, high-leverage builder

  • Write code regularly. Lead design reviews and build high-impact systems end-to-end.
  • Own large multi-team initiatives that span CPQ, Billing, and Payments.
  • Take prototypes to production at scale.

Lead architectural direction

  • Set patterns for extensibility, contract boundaries, financial correctness, event-driven consistency, and how AI agents safely interact with commerce objects.
  • Push for simplicity where the domain wants to get complicated, and consistency where surfaces can drift.

Partner deeply with product leadership

  • Influence product strategy across CPQ, Buyer Portal, and Revenue OS.
  • Help teams make clear tradeoffs between speed, correctness, compliance, and long-term platform health.

Raise the bar across the org

  • Mentor senior engineers and tech leads.
  • Drive thoughtful design decisions and guide learnings from incidents and large migrations.
  • Help teams align on patterns that reduce complexity and increase reliability.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems with strict correctness requirements.
  • Strong instincts for API and platform design. You’ve built things external teams depend on and know what that responsibility feels like.
  • Background working with complex state machines, financial flows, or high-integrity data models.
  • Familiarity with agentic systems and what it means for AI to safely act on structured data, not just read it.
  • The ability to work horizontally across many teams and get alignment on platform patterns.
  • A habit of turning ambiguity into clear plans and working software, and staying hands-on every step of the way.

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Engineer Software Engineering- Internship (Fall 2026/Summer 2027) at Deepgram

Software engineering intern designs, builds, and ships end-to-end projects on voice AI platform infrastructure including ASR, TTS, and LLM connectivity.

Junior Posted about 16 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Company Overview

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram.

Company Operating Rhythm

At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.

Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

Note: Hiring for Fall 2026 and Summer 2027 cohorts

Team Overview

You’d join the engineering team building the voice-native foundation models and the platform that delivers them at production scale: real-time ASR, next-generation TTS, and LLM connectivity. As an intern, you won’t be sidelined on throwaway work, you’ll own a real project and see firsthand how research, engineering, and customers actually fit together.

Key Goals:

  • Design, build, and ship one scoped project end to end, from design through reviewed, tested code running in staging or production, with a dedicated mentor guiding you at each milestone

  • Contribute directly to a production Deepgram codebase, whether that’s the core voice AI platform, the Applied AI wing (Deepgram for Restaurants), or the consumer wing, landing merged PRs that teammates and customers actually use

  • Dig into voice AI: speech and audio ML, real-time systems, and how research, engineering, and customers form one feedback loop

  • Use Agentic tooling (Claude Code, Codex, whatever you want!!) as a default part of how you prototype, test, and debug, and bring at least one workflow improvement back to the team

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:

  • You’ve built things because you wanted them to exist: projects, tools, scripts, or automations, whether in class, on your own, or in a prior role.

  • You reach for AI as a default part of how you learn and build, not an occasional add-on, and you can talk about where it helps and where human judgment still has to lead.

  • You reason from first principles: when something breaks, you dig into why rather than patching around it.

  • You write and read code in at least one language, and you pick up new languages, tools, and codebases quickly.

  • You can explain your work clearly: what you built, what broke, and what you’d do differently.

  • You treat “good enough” as a question, not a finish line, and you’re drawn to hard problems.

  • You give and receive feedback well and want to get better fast.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or building equivalent skills through self-study, open source, or your own projects.

  • Coursework or hands-on exposure to machine learning, real-time systems, or audio/speech processing.

  • A prior internship, a hackathon project, or something you built and shipped for yourself, ideally with an AI-assisted workflow behind it.

This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

About the Role

Deepgram wins when developers can go from API key to production with as little friction as possible. As a Staff Developer Experience Engineer, you’ll own the systems that make that happen—from our SDK architecture and code-generation pipeline to the tooling, documentation, and integrations developers rely on every day.

This is a deeply technical engineering role, not a traditional Developer Relations position. You’ll build and evolve the foundation behind our multi-language SDKs, improve the developer journey across every touchpoint, and remove friction before developers ever encounter it. Working closely with Engineering, Product, Partnerships, and Developer Relations, you’ll help define the standards for developer experience across the platform.

Success in this role means making Deepgram the easiest voice AI platform to build on: faster time to first API call, better SDKs, fewer support issues, and an experience that developers genuinely enjoy using.

What you’ll work with

  • Real-time, streaming SDKs. Our SDKs wrap low-latency WebSocket APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and Voice Agents. The hard, interesting parts are streaming, partial and interim results, reconnection and backpressure, and concurrency.

  • Multiple languages and tech stacks. Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, .NET, and Java today, with a persistent eye on what developers are building with.

  • Open source, in the open. The SDKs are public on GitHub. You own the repos, work in the open, and engage directly with external contributors, issues, and PRs.

  • Spec-driven, generated SDKs. The libraries are generated from a shared API specification, so much of the craft lives in the generation pipeline and templates rather than hand-writing each library, which is exactly the architecture this role owns.

  • The wider surface. A CLI, the documentation and reference experience, and starter repos and reference integrations for the partner stacks developers build voice agents on, like Pipecat, LiveKit, AWS, and Twilio.

What you’ll do

  • Own the direction of developer experience. Set the DX roadmap (what we build, in what order, and why) and act as the technical lead for the area without direct reports. You’re the person Product, Engineering, and Partnerships come to for the DX point of view, and the one who represents it in planning.

  • Own the SDK code-generation architecture. Design and own the system that produces our SDKs, so every supported library ships predictably and adding a new language is a known, low-cost effort rather than a one-off project.

  • Set the standard for how developers experience the platform. Define the quality bar, cross-language parity, versioning and release discipline, and observability across all of our SDKs. These are the standards the rest of the team builds against.

  • Raise the level of everyone who touches the SDK surface. Through code review, patterns, documentation, and pairing, you make the engineers around you better at developer experience, leading through influence rather than management.

  • Attack friction at the root. Find the systemic causes that slow developers down across whole segments and fix them once, structurally, before developers ever hit them.

  • Build the tooling the whole team relies on. The code-generation pipeline, CI and supporting infrastructure, starter repositories, and context that both human developers and AI coding agents can build on (including emerging standards like llms.txt).

  • Design for resilience and longevity. Build documentation, automation, and architecture that the whole team can operate and extend, so the work lasts and scales beyond any one person.

  • Be the technical voice into Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partnerships. Give cross-functional stakeholders the context and technical input they need to make good decisions about the developer-facing surface across our partner ecosystem.

What we’re looking for

  • A track record of owning developer-facing tooling across multiple languages. Starts with libraries, and expands to the SDK generators, templates, and release automation that produce them, with direction others built against.

  • AI as part of how you build. You use AI as real infrastructure in your workflow. Think agentic pipelines, custom tooling, and generators you’ve authored and rely on daily, with strong verification discipline. (Be ready to talk about the most complex AI system you’ve built recently.)

  • An instinct to build reusable systems. Your standout work is something that outlived you. It could be a generator, automation, pipeline, or architecture that others adopted.

  • First-principles reasoning about systems. You think about SDKs, code generation, and partner ecosystems as systems. They have inputs, outputs, feedback loops, and boundaries.

  • Production ownership instincts. You treat production SDKs as production: observability, incident response, backward-compatibility discipline, and a bias toward removing recurring toil.

  • Range beyond your core. You go deep on developer experience and tooling, and you can pick up developer content, demos, or community work when the moment calls for it.

  • You think in developer outcomes, not just shipped code: you connect SDK and docs work to product activation and retention.

What success looks like

  • You set the standards for our SDKs and developer tooling, and the rest of the team adopts them.

  • The team has a clear direction for developer experience, and follows it, because you set it; and the engineers around you get better at DX because of how you work.

  • You’re a recognized authority on developer experience; engineers and partners reference your work at the integration layer.

  • More signups reach a successful first call, and fewer drop at integration, because the SDKs and docs make activation effortless.

  • Support load drops, because the tooling and documentation answer the question first.

  • The hardest, least-defined problems in our developer experience get named and solved, often before anyone else has spotted them.

Why This Role Matters

Deepgram wins when developers move from “is this possible?” to “this is in production” with zero friction. For almost every developer, that path runs through an SDK: it’s where a new signup either makes a successful first call or quietly drops, which makes it one of the highest-leverage activation points in our product-led growth funnel. As a Staff Developer Experience Engineer, you own that surface and the architecture behind it: you don’t just tell developers what’s possible, you build the path that makes it effortless.

What this role involves

About Us

Are you ready to build the future of supply chain? At Gather AI, we’re not just creating software; we’re pioneering a new era of warehouse intelligence. We’ve developed a groundbreaking, vision-powered platform that uses autonomous drones and existing equipment to capture real-time data, completely digitizing workflows that have historically been manual and error-prone. This means facilities operate smarter, safer, and more efficiently, ultimately redefining “on-time, in full” delivery.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to contribute to truly transformative technology and make a significant impact in a vital industry, Gather AI is the place for you. We’re leading the charge in the rapidly evolving robotics industry, and we invite you to join us in reshaping the global supply chain, one intelligent warehouse at a time.

About the Team

Our Autonomy team builds the software that makes Gather AI’s MHE Vision and drone products work in live warehouse environments. MHE Vision turns forklifts and other material handling equipment into real-time inventory sensors, using onboard cameras and compute to scan locations and report inventory data as equipment moves through the facility. It’s a technically demanding product line operating at the intersection of embedded systems, computer vision, and large-scale warehouse deployments.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Staff Autonomy Engineer (MHE Vision) to own the core autonomy software stack for our MHE Vision platform. You’ll lead the design and implementation of the perception, localization, and scanning pipelines that run on vehicle-mounted hardware in production warehouses, and you’ll do it on real systems with real constraints.

This is a Staff-level individual contributor role with significant technical ownership. You’ll work directly with hardware, field deployment, and ML teams to build software that performs reliably in environments that are noisy, dynamic, and unforgiving of edge cases. Your work will directly shape the accuracy and reliability of inventory data that customers depend on.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the autonomy software stack for Gather products, including perception, localization, and inventory scanning pipelines running on vehicle-mounted embedded compute

  • Contribute to the architecture of the product autonomy stack as the product scales to more vehicle types, facility layouts, and customer configurations

    • Document existing systems
    • Plan future revisions
    • Contribute and lead to design improvements and testing
  • Solve problems across the autonomy stack

    • Design and implement algorithms that reliably detect, identify, and record inventory locations as forklifts and drones move through warehouse aisles under variable lighting, occlusion, and motion
    • Improve scan accuracy and coverage through algorithmic improvements, better sensor integration, and tighter coordination with the ML perception models
    • Build and maintain the software systems that manage scan triggering, location mapping, and data handoff to the cloud platform
    • Collaborate with hardware and field teams to diagnose and resolve issues on deployed systems, using log data and field observations to drive improvements

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years building autonomy, robotics, or perception systems that run on physical hardware in production
  • Strong C++ and Python, with experience writing software that runs on embedded or resource-constrained compute platforms
  • Hands-on experience with computer vision pipelines including camera-based detection, localization, or tracking in real-world environments
  • Experience building and debugging software on deployed systems, including log-based diagnosis and field iteration
  • Comfort operating at Staff level: setting technical direction, making consequential architecture decisions, and taking end-to-end ownership of a system

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ROS2 or similar robotics middleware in a production context
  • Background in warehouse, logistics, or industrial automation environments
  • Familiarity with sensor fusion, calibration, or multi-camera systems
  • Experience with SLAM, odometry, or other localization approaches on mobile platforms
