The primary responsibility of the Sr. Specialist is the development and updated of our CPA and EA curriculum with a focus on tax. The Sr. Specialist is expected to bring technical expertise and knowledge of the accounting profession to provide best-in-class learning and continuing education to accounting professionals
•   Write content as needed
•   Review CPA course materials developed by subject matter experts (SMEs) including textbooks and lectures
•   Write and/or review CPA course questions, flashcards, and other course components
•   Provide guidance to production team on images to be used in course material
•   Train SMEs on the use of CPA course templates
•   Assist in the maintenance of CPA mapping to technical guidance
•   Assist in the development of curriculum for custom content projects
•   Follow developments and trends in accounting profession and plan the timely development and updates to course material to respond to these developments
•   Complete other duties as assigned
•   Collaborate and respond to inquiries from cross functional teams
•   Manage the development and timelines of course content developed by SMEs
•   Leverage instructional design principles to convey technical accounting concepts
•   Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, finance and/or accounting required; master’s degree preferred
•   CPA required
•   5-10 years of experience in the accounting and tax profession with content or technical development preferred
•   Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
•   Strong organizational and resource management skills
