This position will be part of a team of talented engineers within our Commerce Platform Team, who build services and products that operate at a massive scale. This platform is central to Twilio’s core business as it is responsible for managing the billing lifecycle and payment experience for our customers, while also acting as a gateway for discovering and selling our products. Billing is going through a transformational journey, and we are introducing new and exciting capabilities. The engineer in this role will be part of a team that focuses on the control plane, billing experience and account lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will design, build, and operate core billing platform services that help transition our platform and our customers to the next generation architecture. These services work for all Twilio customers, regardless of their scale and billing complexity.

The ideal candidate will build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with high levels of coding standards and technical design. This is to build and integrate services that continuously improve our ability to provide products to customers while simultaneously delivering industry leading availability. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Improve your knowledge of highly available and scalable distributed systems and use this knowledge to build new features into our platform.
  • Design, implement, and operate both new features on our current services as well as new services that will be built from scratch.
  • Leverage your excellent communication and written skills to articulate the “why” of the solution you are proposing, and have a good understanding of your team’s priorities and the customer impact.

*Required:

  • 5+  years of work experience building highly scalable products.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in object-oriented language  (Java or similar) with clean code practices.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Staff Applications Engineer to establish Antora’s applications engineering function, the technical bridge between our product platform and commercial projects. Working alongside our business development, project development, product management, and analytics teams, you will configure Antora’s thermal batteries for specific customer sites and applications: industrial process heat, combined heat & power, and utility-scale power for data centers and the grid, in the U.S. and internationally. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for customer opportunities across industrial heat, combined heat & power, and power applications, joining business development on sales calls and owning the technical conversation with customer engineering/operations teams and executives

Job Description

Responsible for implementing and supporting improvements, efficiency, enhancing software quality, and accelerate delivery times. Having the shared responsibility between development/operations with a focus on people, process, tolls that take a unified customer/user focus. In a multi-disciplinary team with Development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec, UCD etc. all working together to achieve a common goal of applying best practice in DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience of DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation
  • Communication: Able to speak to stakeholders and be able to transfer business requirements into technical implementation
  • Facilitate information/business knowledge: Able to act as a business SME and understand what the business needs and how to support this into an efficient DevOps team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to negotiate and influence with stakeholders to ensure the service runs effectively and efforts are placed correctly.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years as a DevOps Engineer
  • Strong knowledge in AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
  • Practical experience using Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
  • Knowledge of Java(spring) is ideal
  • Extensive experience of cloud computing, and best practices/emerging technologies
  • Experienced with multiple eco-system databases, architecture and integration
  • Experience with monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Kubernetes & Helm: Strong understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes and package management using Helm.
  • Cloud Services (AWS): Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools like Terraform.
  • CI/CD: Proficiency in setting up and maintaining pipelines, particularly with Jenkins.
  • Database Management: Experience with schema change management (e.g., Liquibase).
  • Scripting: Ability to write automation scripts (e.g., Python).
  • GitOps: Understanding of GitOps principles.
  • Java & Maven: Experience with Java programming and Maven for builds.
  • Core Principles: A mindset focused on automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and defining best practices.
  • Knowledge of GitLab, Bash, ArgoCD, Kafka, or Liquibase is considered beneficial but not essential.

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, Application Support! Reporting to the Associate Director, IT, this senior technical member of the Application Support team will work across Zensurance’s engineering domains to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex platform issues end-to-end — owning escalated incidents from triage through code-level fixes and deployment.

In this role, you will develop broad familiarity with Zensurance’s systems and codebases, coach and mentor team members, and partner with Engineering Leadership to continuously improve the quality and capability of the Application Support function.

This is a remote-first role within Canada. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities:

Technical escalation & resolution

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 3+ incidents raised by the Application Support team that require deep technical investigation.

  • Investigate escalated issues at the code level — reading, understanding, and modifying production codebases across multiple engineering domains.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of resolutions: diagnose the root cause, implement and test a fix, and deploy to production.

  • Develop a broad working knowledge across Zensurance’s technical domains (Node/TypeScript/AWS) to triage and resolve issues independently, without defaulting to dev-team escalation.

  • Engage engineering domain owners selectively when an issue requires their involvement.

Support team enablement

  • Collaborate closely with Application Support team members to improve their ability to identify, triage, and resolve technical issues.

  • Document resolutions, build runbooks, and maintain the knowledge repository so that common escalations are resolved faster over time.

  • Identify recurring patterns in escalated incidents and drive upstream code or process changes to reduce their frequency.

  • Develop educational materials and provide coaching to help the team build technical confidence.

Process & continuous improvement

  • Collect and analyze incident data to surface trends and recommend data-driven process improvements.

  • Suggest and implement improvements to the escalation workflow, tooling, and support processes.

  • Contribute to cross-team collaboration with engineering, ensuring support insights inform product and platform quality.

  • Manage and respond to escalated tickets within parameters set by Broker Support SLAs.

Mentorship & leadership

  • Act as the senior technical voice within the Application Support team, setting the standard for investigation and documentation quality.

  • Mentor and coach team members, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Most providers make customers migrate their data to them. We’re doing the opposite: bringing ClickHouse Cloud into the environments our customers already trust, so their data stays useful right where it lives.

Those environments come in a few shapes. Some are major cloud data platforms that run ClickHouse as a native service, so customers get it without leaving the tool they already use. Some are BI and visualization tools that need ClickHouse to show up as a fast, first-class data source behind their dashboards. And some are developer and data platforms we connect through marketplaces and identity federation with a couple of clicks to link an account. The goal is the same every time: ClickHouse should feel like a first-class citizen in every environment.

As the founding backend engineer, you’ll set the technical defaults for this team. You’ll have end-to-end ownership, but you’ll also work inside the constraints of platforms you don’t own: thin documentation, unfamiliar deployment topologies, and timelines governed by partner approval cycles. A lot of the challenge is engineering across trust boundaries you don’t fully control. You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work closely with the team’s engineering manager and a small founding group that will grow around you, but you’ll be the one setting the technical direction. What you’ll do

You’ll own an integration end to end: the design, the code, and the production system that keeps running after launch. You’re setting the technical defaults a growing team will inherit, so the early decisions matter.

About you

  • You’re good with other engineers. Much of the work runs through teams you don’t own, and you earn their trust by how you think, not just what you commit.
  • You’re mainly a backend engineer, but you’re comfortable enough in JavaScript / TypeScript to jump in when it helps
  • You use AI tools well and honestly. Reach for Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or whatever helps, and be clear about where you did and didn’t
  • You write well. Most of how we coordinate happens in design docs, PRs, and RFCs

$141,000—$208,000 USD

The typical starting salary for this role in US Premium Markets is

$157,000—$238,000 USD

Title: Senior Software Engineer, SIM Key Auth & Trust Team

Job Summary:

The SIM Key Auth & Trust Team at Prove is responsible for designing and developing the authentication and trust products that integrate with Mobile Network Operators. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will use cutting edge technology to deliver strategic software solutions as part of a scalable platform and mobile development frameworks. This is a hands-on, impactful role where you will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and other senior engineers to deliver solutions that will delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write well-designed, efficient code across iOS, Android, and Web platforms, and perform code reviews.
  • Own delivery of software features from Product to Production.
  • Partner with Product, IT and Operations to define technical requirements, develop project roadmaps, and ensure timely, efficient delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-reported issues and technical challenges through creative problem-solving.
  • Lead projects and mentor engineers.
  • Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of full stack software development experience.

  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming with proficiency in at least two of the three dominant technologies in our tech stack:

    • Kotlin/Java
    • Javascript/Typescript
    • Swift/ObjC
  • Experience in shipping mobile technologies such as iOS/Android and in Web development

  • Proven professional experience working with a modern client-side stack, including HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and shipping lower level client-side frameworks and SDKs
  • Experience with AWS, Firebase, or other public cloud services.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or other quantitative fields or relevant experience.
  • Prior technical leadership experience.
  • Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
  • Experience in high growth /pre-IPO Technology companies is a plus.
