We are hiring a Sales Development Senior Manager for our Client Sales team based in Madrid, Spain to cover the Spanish and Portuguese markets!

As a Senior Sales Development Manager, you are the direct leader of our front-line BDR team. Your goal is to build, coach, and maintain a high-value prospecting engine. Inbound & Outbound Process Mastery

  • Inbound Agility: Manage the “speed-to-lead” for inbound inquiries, ensuring high conversion rates through rigorous qualification.
  • Outbound Strategy: Work with the team to build hyper-personalised outbound “clusters.” You’ll move beyond generic sequences to high-intent, research-backed prospecting.
  • Tech Stack Champion: Ensure the team is getting maximum ROI out of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-assisted prospecting tools.
  • BoB Management: Develop the best-in-class strategies for managing the rep’s book of business and running the outreach-prospecting playbook and turning curiosity into attention with intention.
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years in Sales, with at least 1-2 years of experience as a Lead BDR or Front-line Manager.
  • The “Coach” DNA: A passion for seeing others succeed. You should have examples of BDRs OR AEs you’ve mentored who have been promoted into AE or Senior roles.
  • Analytical Skills: You can look at a conversion funnel and pinpoint exactly where the “leak” is-whether it’s the initial hook, the discovery call, or the hand-off to the AE.
  • Strategic Narrative Building: Proven experience managing SDR/BDR teams for a Challenger Brand or a “non-commodity” solution. You must demonstrate the ability to create urgency for a product that is not yet a “household name” or is perceived as discretionary spend.
  • The “Value-First” Framework: You have moved beyond “feature-selling” and can coach reps to pivot from Product Interest to Business Impact. You should be able to show how you’ve successfully positioned a solution as “mission-critical” during budget-conscious cycles.
  • Spain and Portugal Market Savvy: Comfortable navigating the nuances of Spain and Portugal business culture and time zones.
  • HR Knowledge and experience: You are familiar with the HR space and can talk the CHRO language
  • Knowledge of key sales development metrics: Team Quota Attainment (% of team hitting SQL/Meeting/ Opps targets), Conversion Rates (MQL to SQL Inbound and Prospect to Meeting to Opps Outbound)
    • Win Rates and Revenue Targets: It’s all about how this team and demand gen impact the business results
    • Ramp Time: Speed at which new hires reach full productivity.
    • Employee Retention: Team engagement and internal promotion rates.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

Core responsibilities

  • Team leadership: partner with and assist COE Management with the tasks of providing ongoing technical feedback to engineers, support their growth and creating an inclusive team environment
  • Execution and delivery: play a key role in guiding team members through project deliverables ensuring high quality outcomes while also assisting in meeting or resetting timelines when required
  • Time management: between assisting team members with day to day tasks ranging from incident to project management
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Product, Technical Services and R&D to surface team’s pain points and drive alignment with the goal of providing an excellent user experience to the end customer
  • Coordinate with Lead counterparts within Cloud Operations as well as Technical Services to ensure our uptime guarantees to the MongoDB Atlas customer base
  • Assist and collaborate with the team on scoping, designing, deploying and ongoing maintenance of systems that focus on reducing mean time to resolve customer incidents
  • Detect opportunities for streamlining the team’s day to day work by introducing and implementing opportunities for automation or time saving tooling
  • Coordinate and participate in weekly on-call rotation, where you will handle short term customer incidents

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, with hands-on experience in similar roles working in small to mid sized Engineering Teams in a rapid-growth environment
  • Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting process, with significant experience troubleshooting end-to-end technical issues in production environments
  • Experience supervising, leading and monitoring progress of Software Development projects
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and find solutions to challenges in real-time
  • Experience with being an oncall DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations engineer
  • Expertise with Linux system administration and networking technologies
  • Knowledge of database and distributed system operations and concepts
  • Knowledgeable about a wide range of web and internet technologies
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and other Cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g. GCP, Azure)
  • Experience in monitoring, system performance data collection and analysis, and reporting
  • Capability to write programs/scripts to solve both short-term systems problems and long term strategic objectives for the Atlas product
  • A CS/CE degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, Go, Python, Typescript
  • A keen interest in learning new skills and competencies

Expectations and success profile:

  • Deliver strong results through the team, not just through individual output
  • Raise the team’s performance and efficacy while coaching and working alongside the team members
  • Create clarity in ambiguous situations while also keeping stakeholders aligned
  • Partner with the Cloud Operations Engineering regional Manager in ensuring operational minimums are met, high technical quality is maintained and the team operates within realistic and reasonable workload parameters

Core responsibilities

  • Team leadership: partner with and assist COE Management with the tasks of providing ongoing technical feedback to engineers, support their growth and creating an inclusive team environment
  • Execution and delivery: play a key role in guiding team members through project deliverables ensuring high quality outcomes while also assisting in meeting or resetting timelines when required
  • Time management: between assisting team members with day to day tasks ranging from incident to project management
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Product, Technical Services and R&D to surface team’s pain points and drive alignment with the goal of providing an excellent user experience to the end customer
  • Coordinate with Lead counterparts within Cloud Operations as well as Technical Services to ensure our uptime guarantees to the MongoDB Atlas customer base
  • Assist and collaborate with the team on scoping, designing, deploying and ongoing maintenance of systems that focus on reducing mean time to resolve customer incidents
  • Detect opportunities for streamlining the team’s day to day work by introducing and implementing opportunities for automation or time saving tooling
  • Coordinate and participate in weekly on-call rotation, where you will handle short term customer incidents

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, with hands-on experience in similar roles working in small to mid sized Engineering Teams in a rapid-growth environment
  • Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting process, with significant experience troubleshooting end-to-end technical issues in production environments
  • Experience supervising, leading and monitoring progress of Software Development projects
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and find solutions to challenges in real-time
  • Experience with being an oncall DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations engineer
  • Expertise with Linux system administration and networking technologies
  • Knowledge of database and distributed system operations and concepts
  • Knowledgeable about a wide range of web and internet technologies
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and other Cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g. GCP, Azure)
  • Experience in monitoring, system performance data collection and analysis, and reporting
  • Capability to write programs/scripts to solve both short-term systems problems and long term strategic objectives for the Atlas product
  • A CS/CE degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, Go, Python, Typescript
  • A keen interest in learning new skills and competencies

Qualifications

What will you bring to the ride?

  • Excellent written and spoken English, equivalent to CEFR C1 level
  • 8+ years of professional experience with the Vue.js , or similar frameworks
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining automated frontend testing, using tools such as Jest, Vitest, and/or Cypress

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role.   • Lead the development and execution of India B2B marketing strategy, aligned with global priorities and India GTM objectives.

  • Drive full-funnel B2B marketing programs across field marketing, content, customer marketing, events, executive engagement, and partner marketing.

  • Partner closely with India GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Comms, and Global Affairs to deliver integrated programs that support enterprise adoption and pipeline growth.

  • Translate global B2B narratives and launches into India-relevant, market-specific execution across enterprise, startup, developer, and partner motions.

  • Establish strong India marketing operating rhythms, including planning cycles, agency management, budget oversight, performance measurement, and reporting.

  • Act as the India voice for B2B marketing, bringing market insight, customer perspective, trust signals, and local nuance into global strategy discussions.

  • Build and scale foundational B2B marketing capabilities in India, with an eye toward future team growth and specialization.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B or integrated marketing, ideally within technology, platforms, or high-growth environments.

  • Proven track record of building and executing B2B marketing programs that support enterprise or partner-led GTM motions in India and/or similarly complex markets.

  • Strong understanding of India enterprise buying dynamics, including the role of trust, regulation, partners, SI ecosystems, and local proof points.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

  • Experience working closely with Sales, GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Comms teams in a matrixed organization.

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, with strong stakeholder management and influence skills across business, policy, product, and GTM audiences.

What this role involves

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Director of Data & Analytics, responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution across Data Analytics and Data Science. Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Data Officer, you’ll build and manage a data organization that powers product development, personalization, experimentation, and business intelligence. You’ll have an AI-first mentality in proactively seeking new and innovative ways to embed AI in our data organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Set the vision and strategy for Data Analytics and Data Science
  • Partner with Data Engineering to modernize our data infrastructure
  • Own the data platform, including pipelines, warehousing, modeling, governance, observability, and reliability
  • Be the AI thought leader, finding new and innovative ways to leverage AI to improve the business
  • Develop predictive and machine learning models that power personalization, fraud detection, forecasting, and user behavior prediction

YOU IDEALLY HAVE:

  • 10+ years of experience across Data Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary data teams.
  • Proven experience owning and scaling a modern data stack (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Fivetran, etc.).
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI across data verticals and an eagerness to continue to learn more
  • Experience building and maintaining production-level data pipelines and ML models.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks, causal inference, and experimentation platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated data concepts into clear, actionable insights.

IT’S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Background in gaming, lottery, fintech, or other regulated industries
  • Experience with real-time data architectures (Kafka, Kinesis)
